The oldest building in Chester has welcomed travelers since 1887, and it still looks the part.
Built by U.S. Marshal Col. Jacob Yoes, this 9,600 SF landmark has been on the National Register since 1974 and restored without being erased — 40+ original sash windows and the 1887 merchandise shelving remain.
Eleven themed rooms, no two alike, including two suites; one adds a kitchenette and clawfoot tub. Seven showers, nine toilets. Mercantile & Apothecary with stage and seating. Downstairs, a commercial kitchen, dining hall and wood-burning stove.
