Berryville

Founded in 1850, and incorporated in 1886, Berryville is located in Carroll County, Arkansas. Berryville is known for its rich history, particularly during the era of the Civil War. During the Civil War, Union soldiers would camp on the town square, and portions of the old town were burned by both sides, leaving the city in ruins. As years passed and settlers began arriving in Berryville, the city was slowly rebuilt. Today, Berryville is a small community with just under 6,000 residents. Local shops, businesses, and restaurants play an important role in the city’s economy.
