Formerly known as Sugar Loaf, Diamond City was established in 1966 and is located on a peninsula that is surrounded on three sides by Bull Shoals Lake, the largest lake in Arkansas. With a population of nearly 1,000 people, Diamond City is a quiet lake town known for fishing and water sports. Diamond City is also known for camping, and offers over 70 campsites.
